Delta and theta rhythms question

Hey guys, this is a question on a worksheet for uni. I think all the rest are ok but this question I had real difficulty with, can anyone tell me if it’s right and if not what kinda thing I should be talking about?
4. Examine the delta and theta rhythm. Is there an increase in delta and theta activity when the eyes
are open? Explain your observation. [100-200 words]
There is an increase in delta and theta activity when the eyes are open because delta and theta
waves are most commonly associated with restfulness and sleep, specifically stage 3 of slow wave
sleep. High amplitudes reflect neuronal synchrony which is associated with lower levels of neural
activity. As delta and theta rhythms generally display low amplitude waves during sleep and rest this
explains why opening the eyes will increase these waves of activity as the participant becomes more
alert and further from sleep.
Thank you!
