Hello everyone. I’m a newbie to EEG signals and currently, I’m using the Emotiv Epoc+ to collect the EEG signals with the help of CyKITv2. I’d removed the floating point data of the collected data and now it is just integer data for the graph. Can anyone tell me that what should I do to ‘smooth’ the graph? Do I need to apply any filter on it?
Have you tried just a simple bandpass filter from say .5 to 40 Hz?
Some EEG neurofeedback also applies a short term running average to the output of specific band filters such as 8-12 Hz alpha.
