Hi, I am a practitioner with few years of training on various meditation technique and other contemplative practice. recently i decided to try the muse headband but found the default aps way to slow for the desired application, started to use the mind monitor app and i found it fascinating.
Basically, I am interest to see how meditating technique than for me provide strong somatic feedback (like, I feel myself shift) affect readable EEG result in a more of a timeframe manner. Basically, the goals is to see how much of a squarewave you can make the EEG be and how there is coherence between the various band tendency. so somethings like that:
Those are two graph from the same session, https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fupRiNScWSr0TwKNP-bOCz5jhsWQOgsM?usp=sharing is availed there is anyone have better analysis tool than i do and is interested. one is average per mine and the other a more raw version… One of my concern is than current simple analysis tool i se right now seem to round up in average per minute much more than what the raw data look like. And honestly not quite sure of what are the best option to get better analysis and all.
And then, the muse is indeed a little funky when it come to placement where stability matter but you don’t really need super end range fancy either as you loop at average amplitude over a seconds. I was thinking somethings like the emotiv EPOC X might be a better choose for the kind of application I am looking for but curious to see suggestion.
