I’m new to these types of forums but I was hoping you all could help me out. I’ve been having some trouble capping participants. I’m using the 32-channel ActiveTwo system and am sampling from a population with a high frequency of hairstyles that prevent us from capping them (e.g. wigs, braids, thick hair, etc.). Does anyone have a solution for how to cap and get a good read for these hairstyles (mostly the very thick hair). No matter how much gel I put in the cap, it seems the cap is never able to push the hair down far enough for the electrodes to make contact with the scalp.
